The brand is born to exalt the history of our territory and his peculiarity. The factory is located in the “murgia barese”, behind an ancient farm of the XVI century: “Farm Jesce”. The farm is dipped in a splendid rural and naturalistic patrimony situated near our factory; it has always had a certain importance in virtue of her greatness and her strategic position. It is located in proximity of the Street Appia, ancient Roman road that connected Rome to Brindisi. Ancient testimonies narrate that during the Roman period “Farm Jesce” has been a station of standstill for the change of the horses and for the raw transumantis during the Angioina and Aragonese epoch. The Farm Jesce has also been a Benedictine grancia in the ‘500, as well as a sure abode for the monks.
The bond with our beloved Puglia has pushed the factory to the creation of the brand "Apulia." With this brand is worked only the local durum wheat semolina at very short and checked chain 100% of Apulian origin. The pasta is produced with wheats highly selected and with careful processes of workmanship, from the mix to the drying. The care employed in the meticulous search of the only wheat pugliese, together to the elegance and the sobriety of the packaging, satisfy our clients from the demanding palates.

Since 10 years DeLeonardis family gives care and dedication in high quality pasta production, very well known locally. A story based on the generations experience for a real art that sees the union of first quality materials: the best durum wheat semolina with crystalline water. We have fantasized, experimented and worked to give life to an icon of Italian culinary culture: DeLeonardis pasta. On market DeLeonardis brand prefers Ho.re.ca. channel, both through the GDO, including customers like METRO ESPANA, that also through qualified italian or foreign catering distributors.
